Brave Hearts of the North East
Olivia received a Brave Hearts of the NorthEast award today (3/12/09)
for her bravery whilst ill and her continued bravery and cheerfullness!!
We are soooooo proud of Olivia and think she totally deserves it.
We had a great day at St James' park in Newcastle and think that all of the kids who attended are amazing. You can find the Brave Hearts website here where you can donate or nominate someone for the award.
They awarded Olivia with a Brave hearts crystal award and have paid for a 3 storey playhouse to be built for her.

We would like to say a
BIG thankyou to all the people who have raised money for us in 2009.
This is very appreciated. It helps give us some peace of mind that when
the time comes for us to buy these realistic limbs/ limbs with an ankle
etc that hopefully we will have most of the money so that the time won't
come when we have to tell Olivia that she can't have the legs which
look real..
We have met some very special people this year and made some new friends. We are touched by the generosity and empathy we have had from people and hope that 2010 will be as successful for our trust and for everyone connected with us.

Cumbrian run 2009
Thanks to everyone who run the Cumbrian run for us in 2009, there were over 30 people running directly and indirectly for us.

Elvis plays for Olivia!!
Look out for top Cumbrian entertainer and Elvis impersonator Stevie Las
Vegas together with a showcase of artists performing in aid of Olivia's
Trust fund.
There will also be a disco, raffle and auction. There are some great prizes including a satnav, mp3 player etc
All money raised goes to the trust. Look out for amazing auctions.

This night rocked! Stevie Las Vegas Vevers was awesome. Everyone who came had a great night. Lots of great prizes were won and everyone was very generous. Up to now, we have raised about £3k on the night!
There will also be a disco, raffle and auction. There are some great prizes including a satnav, mp3 player etc
All money raised goes to the trust. Look out for amazing auctions.

Relax Hair and Beauty Salon of Carlisle have recently relocated and
held a fundraiser for Olivia's trust in the town centre at Carlisle.
They were very generous indeed and had a "balloon Giveaway" with the proceeds going to Olivia's Trust.

Coast to Coast 2009
On 17th and 18th of July 2009. Big hearted Dave O Roarty completed all
186 miles of route 72 so our daughter can have a better future. He rode route 72 which starts at Ravenglass and
comes up west Cumbria via Sellafield, Whitehaven, Workington, Maryport,
Silloth and then to Carlisle. Day 2 will be via Brampton, Haltwhistle,
Hexham, Corbridge, Newcastle, South Shields and back to Newcastle to
catch the train home.

Cumbrian Run 2008
Carl Edmondson completed the Cumbrian run in 1 hour 55 mins, we didn't even know he was doing it for Olivia's trust. Big thankyou to Carl!!
James Brown Completed the Cumbrian run in 2 hours 18 mins with No training!! Our thanks to Jimmy and defo WELL DONE!!
